BOOKING CONDITIONS
DEPOSIT/CANCELLATION POLICY
- £250 security deposit required on booking. Full payment it taken automatically 8 weeks before arrival.
- 100% refund of deposit if cancelled up to 8 weeks prior to arrival
- 50% refund of deposit if cancelled up to 4 weeks prior to arrival
- Cancellation under 4 weeks no refund can be offered.
- £250 security deposit will be returned on the hostel being left in a satisfactory condition.
HOSTEL RULES
- Please ensure that you leave the communal areas, kitchen and bathroom facilities as you found them so that others can enjoy as you did.
- Please re-cycle as much as you can-- there are boxes to separate waste in the kitchen.
- Security Deposit - any damage to the hostel may result in money being deducted from the booking card.
- Please let us know if anything is broken, we are always keen to discuss breakages before any charges are made.
HOSTEL ACCESS
- Check-in is after 4pm (An early check-in may be possible to arrange - contact us)
- Check out by 11am (A later check out may be possible to arrange - contact us)
- No curfews in the evenings -- you're free to come and go as you wish as long as you keep noise to a minimum after 11pm as we live in the cottage next door.
CAR PARKING
We have a car park for approx 10 cars for exclusive use.
LINEN & TOWELS
We provide all bed linen + duvets. Towels can be ordered as an extra – let us know in good time
DOGS
Dogs are allowed but please keep then under controi - we have occassional sheep in the garden!
Exclusive bookings and hostel TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Snowdonia Mountain Hostel is operated by Carno Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”).
The person whose name appears on the Booking Form agrees to take full responsibility for ensuring that all members of the party adhere to the Conditions of Let set out below:

Please notify us of any cancellation in writing. If a notice of cancellation is received between the dates of your deposit being received and the final payment being due then the deposit will be retained unless the Property can be re-let. If cancellation is made within four weeks of the holiday start (i.e. the whole rent has been paid) then the whole amount paid will be retained.

To safeguard against cancellation charges & other unforeseen eventualities we strongly recommend Cancellation Insurance.

Should the Property or rooms, subsequent to booking, become unavailable through any cause, you must accept that Carno Ltd's liability is limited to the amount of any rent paid.

You accept that the responsibility for personal property of guests occupying the accommodation is solely theirs. All vehicles are also left at the guests risk. Guests agree to absolve Carno Ltd of any responsibility for any accident or mishap to persons or property whilst on the premises or whilst engaged in any activity therein, or from any illness or injury arising from any causes whatsoever.

You agree to use the Property solely for its intended purpose as self-catering accommodation and to accept our right to refuse to hand over the Property to any person deemed unsuitable to take charge. Causing a nuisance or disturbance to neighbours or other guests, unreasonable behaviour, or disrupting the running of the business may result in us requesting you to leave.

You agree to allow Carno Ltd. access to the Property at all reasonable times.

You must respect and look after your accommodation during your stay and you must leave the Property clean and tidy. Please let us know of any damage or breakages so we can repair or replace them for the next guests. We reserve the right to charge for any damage or breakages on the card used to book the hostel, with the minimum being £10 per item broken.

You must vacate the Property by 11am at the latest on your day of departure unless special arrangements have been made with the Owner. This is to allow us to prepare the Property for the next guests.

Guest arrival time is from 4pm – 10pm. Other times may be possible by arrangement.

The use of your own personal electrical equipment is out of our control from a Fire Assessment Regulation perspective, and must therefore be at your own personal risk.

Bookings cannot be accepted from persons under eighteen years of age.

No commercial booking of the property are allowed without prior agreement. This includes where third parties are charging guests for activities that involve overnight accommodation at our hostel.

No commercial photography or filming in the property or the grounds is permitted without prior agreement and payment of location fees.

We reserve the right to refuse a booking without giving any reason.

It is the guests duty to ensure that the property is left clean on departure i.e. please empty bins, clean dirty dishes.

It is against the law to smoke anywhere on the premises. It also presents an unacceptable fire risk. Any breach will result immediate termination of occupancy and a charge of £100. Breaches may be reported to the prosecuting authorities.

Damage to property – Please treat the facilities & accommodation with due care so that other guests maycontinue to enjoy them. In the event that you notice damage in your accommodation please let us know immediately so that we can take the appropriate action. If there have been any breakages during your stay, we would be grateful if you could replace them or advise us before you leave. The accommodation will be inspected at the end of the stay & you may be charged for any loss or damage found.

The guest may in no circumstance re-let or sublet the property, even free of charge.

Carno Ltd. shall not be liable for any temporary defect or malfunction of any equipment, machinery or appliance in the building or grounds.

Children under 18 must be supervised by their parents/guardians at all times.

We reserve the right to terminate a holiday without compensation where the unreasonable behaviour of the persons named on the booking (or their guests) may impair the enjoyment, comfort or health of others.

Any problem or complaint which the client may have concerning their holiday must be immediately reported directly to us and we will endeavour to put matters right. Any complaints not reported to us/the property manager at the time and only reported after the client has returned from holiday will not be considered by the proprietor.

We reserve the right to make reasonable amendments or additions to these terms and conditions without notice.

This property is privately owned and is our home. We expect all guests to enjoy the facilities and treat the property with the same respect that they would with their own house
